Capsicum Tofu Sauté”

Yields : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  1. 1 big chopped red capsicum
  2. 1 big chopped green capsicum
  3. 1 big chopped yellow capsicum
  4. 1 cube hard tofu chopped into small cubes
  5. 1 tsp light soy sauce
  6. 1 tbsp thick mushroom soy sauce
  7. Fresh coarsely ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Roast tofu in a hot nonstick ceramic pan till slightly brown and then remove to a bowl
  2. Add the chopped capsicums to the pan and stir around
  3. Add both the soy sauces and a bit of water
  4. Now put back the roasted tofu, sprinkle a little water
  5. Cover to cook till the capsicums are done (do not overcook)
  6. Put the coarsely grounded black pepper and mix well

Notes

It is important to put the tofu into a hot pan, else they stick & break
