Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms apply to registration for and attendance at IAFMCON 2026 (the “Conference”), organised by the Indian Association of Functional Medicine (“IAFM”, “we”, “us”). By registering, you agree to them.

1. Registration and confirmation

  • Submitting the application form on our website is a request for a seat, not a confirmed booking.
  • Our team will contact you to confirm your package and take payment. Your seat is confirmed only once payment has been received in full and we have sent you a written confirmation.
  • In-person seats are limited and are allocated in the order payment is received. We may close registration at any time once capacity is reached.
  • Registrations are personal to the named delegate and may not be resold.

2. Fees and packages

  • Fees are stated per delegate on our website and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Conference Only includes both days, all sessions and panels, both gala dinners, networking zones, lunch, hi-tea and dinner on both days, the recordings and a certificate of participation. It does not include breakfast or accommodation.
  • Conference + Accommodation includes everything above plus accommodation at the venue and breakfast.
  • Travel to and from Bengaluru is not included in any package.
  • Discounts (early bird, couple and group) are applied at the time of booking and cannot be claimed afterwards. Discounts may not be combined unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

3. Programme changes

The programme, speakers, session timings and venue arrangements are correct at the time of publication but may change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered delegates of material changes. A change of speaker or session does not by itself entitle you to a refund.

4. Cancellation by you

Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

5. Cancellation or postponement by us

If we cancel the Conference, registered delegates will receive a full refund of fees paid. If we postpone it, your registration will transfer to the new dates, and you may request a full refund instead if the new dates do not suit you. In either case our liability is limited to the fees you have paid; we are not responsible for travel or accommodation booked independently.

6. Conduct at the venue

  • Delegates are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards speakers, staff, venue personnel and other delegates.
  • Unsolicited selling, canvassing or distribution of promotional material in the sessions or networking areas is not permitted without our written consent.
  • We may remove any delegate whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe or in breach of these terms, without refund.
  • Delegates must comply with the venue's rules and with any instructions given by our staff.

7. Recordings, photography and intellectual property

  • Session content, slides and recordings remain the intellectual property of the speakers and IAFM. Recordings are provided to registered delegates for personal use and may not be copied, shared or published.
  • Delegates may not record, film or live-stream sessions without our written permission.
  • We photograph and film the Conference. By attending, you consent to appearing in such material and to its use by IAFM for reporting and promotion. If you would prefer not to appear, please tell our team at registration and we will do our best to accommodate you.

8. Educational purpose and medical disclaimer

The Conference is an educational event for practitioners and interested members of the public. Nothing presented constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation for any individual, and nothing replaces the clinical judgement of a treating practitioner or care from a delegate's own doctor. Views expressed by speakers are their own and are not endorsed by IAFM. Delegates remain solely responsible for their own clinical decisions and for complying with the laws and professional regulations that apply to them.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, IAFM is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of or damage to personal property at the venue. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Accommodation

Where accommodation is included, it is provided by the venue and is subject to the venue's own terms, check-in and check-out times and house rules. Room allocation is at the venue's discretion.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
