About this edition
Why autoimmunity.
Autoimmune conditions sit at the intersection of the systems that IAFM members work across: immune regulation, gut barrier function, endocrine signalling and environmental exposure. They are also among the conditions that patients most often present with after years of partial answers.
The 2025 programme was built around that sequence. Mechanism first, then assessment, then what can honestly be offered to a patient over the long term.
